Known for its ultra-luxury hospitality offering in some of the world’s most exquisite and off-the-beaten-track locations, One&Only will open three resorts in 2024, including its first property in the United States.

Alpine luxe

One&Only Moonlight Basin will represent the brand’s first resort in the USA, set in Montana, one of the country’s most exclusive ski destinations.

Designed to showcase the surrounding alpine wilderness of Yellowstone National Park viewable through floor-to-ceiling windows, the resort has been conceptualised by Seattle-based architect, Olson Kundig. Seventy-three rooms and suites will be available in the main lodge, with 19 villas offering extra privacy. A separate ski lodge will be connected to Big Sky’s skiing facilities and 5,800 acres of ski terrain by gondola.

Six restaurants and bars will offer distinctive dining, and off-season activities will make the most of the resort’s location with hiking, biking, kayaking, and fly fishing. The property is slated to open in the northern hemisphere winter season, 2024/2025.

Greek odyssey

Opening in April, One&Only Kéa Island will mark the group’s first property and Greece, and second resort in Europe. Situated a 90-minute ferry ride from Athens, 65 hectares of beachfront on Kéa Island is the setting for the all-villa resort.

Each villa will be equipped with a private pool, terrace, courtyard, and fireplace, with most offering panoramic views of the sea. Tailored activities are designed to foster connections with the resort’s natural setting, with options on land and at sea including hiking, snorkelling, and diving.

A Beach Club will bring together resort guests as well as day visitors sailing the Cyclades.

Dubai trifecta

One&Only Za’abeel, Dubai, will open in 2024 as the brand’s third property in the Emirate, and first vertical urban resort. With dining as a central focus of the guest experience, One&Only Za’abeel will have 11 restaurants helmed by some of the world’s most decorated culinary minds, including French chef, Anne-Sophie Pic, Paco Morales, and Sydney’s own Tetsuya Wakuda, who will open Sagetsu.

 Denniston’s Jean-Michel Gathy is creating the resort’s contemporary interiors, highlighting neutral colours and subtle sand motifs in the textiles and artworks displayed in guestrooms — a nod to the resort’s name, meaning ‘white sand’ in the local Emirati dialect.

Other highlights include the UAE’s longest infinity pool, a destination spa, and 360-degree skyline views.
