2019 In Sheep’s Clothing Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley: An attractive perfume of black currants, plum, toast, cocoa, sandalwood, and black olives pounces with a pleasant intensity. Juicy, black fruit flavors build to a solid core, accompanied by fine powdery tannins.
Flavors of toasted oak add complexity to the fruit, finishing on a pleasantly spicy note.
2020 Angeline Pinot Noir Reserve Mendocino County: While the nose is centered on plush berries, plums, and bing cherries, wild violets and stone fruit blossoms surround the periphery, as do tiny hints of cinnamon and anise. High on pleasure with a low monetary impact, this is an excellent choice for our no-fire camping dishes. Get the recipe.

2021 Lorenza True Rosé California: This is an excellent and welcoming ode to Provence with all the bells and whistles. Aromas transport the senses to a wild raspberry field surrounded by rhubarb and a hint of fennel with a savory ocean breeze. The mouthfeel is full of energy and gifted with stamina and zesty spice with mouthwatering acidity and a lengthy finish.
2019 Paydirt Going For Broke Red Wine California: Elegance and power with a lush profile makes this the ultimate red blend for the wood-fired Sonoran dishes found at Bacanora, the coolest new Phoenix restaurant from rising star chef Rene Andrade. The mouthfeel is juicy and balanced by excellent acidity with a mountain of depth and concentration. Get the recipe.
