Surrounded by a wall like a fortified town, Vedema Resort is a world unto itself. Our deluxe hotel is situated in the medieval village of Megalohori, on the legendary Greek Island of Santorini – a remnant of a mythological past.

Just seven kilometers from Fira, the capital of the Island, our resort over looks rolling vineyards, the Aegean sea, and beyond to beautiful sunsets.

Come stay in one of our 45 unique pastel-hued townhouses, domed with distinctive cupolas. Constructed in a traditional style, all feature an authentic look inspired by the characteristic colors of the Greek Islands.

The 10 pool suites are models of fresh minimalism, originally inspired by the simple island lodges and “barefoot chic” philosophy found throughout Santorini. The Presidential Villa is a masterpiece of luxury and style.

Our 15th century-styled winery restaurant, Vinsanto Restaurant and Lounge, serves Mediterranean cuisine whilst Pergola Pool Restaurant offers light meals and Greek specialties.

Wine tasting takes place every evening around sunset at the Canava Wine Bar, and allows you to sample different types of caviars, French champagne, and the best of Cuban cigars.

Exquisitely furnished, perfectly situated on a magical Aegean isle, and elegantly equipped to meet all your needs, Vedema Resort is ready to be your private paradise.

Vedema Resort is built in the style of a fortified village with encircling walls, pastel hued houses, lava cobblestone walkways, and exotic courtyards studded with flowers.

Within this self-contained world lie 45 luxury houses offering everything from luxurious one-bedroom suites to three-bedroom apartments, a private pool Villa, and the magnificent neo-classical three-bedroom Presidential Villa.

In homage to Greece’s striking simplistic beauty, a minimalist décor features whitewashed walls, shuttered windows, four poster brass beds and original art.

Individually designed and styled, each house caters to personal preferences and offers options in size, ambiance, and colour.

For those after the privacy of villa living, the superb Aegean, Olympian, and Presidential Villas offer even greater luxury with marble bathrooms, courtyards with private pools or Jacuzzis, and in the case of the Presidential Villa, a grand interior in keeping with the history of the house.

Dining options are plentiful. Champagne breakfasts start each morning in a culinary style that only gets better as the day progresses.

Admire the breathtaking view of picturesque Megalohori, the vineyards, and the sea at our poolside Pergola Pool Restaurant, offering crisp salads, Mediterranean barbeques, traditional Greek dishes, and fresh fish and seafood delivered daily.

The journey continues in the mysterious ambience of the gourmet Vinsanto Restaurant and Lounge. Located in a 400-year old winery, our signature restaurant boasts a sophisticated, yet lively, atmosphere.

Carved out of the Thiran earth, the Canava Wine Bar, a 400-year old winery offers a distinguished atmosphere and a selection of white and red wines from Santorini.

Discover the utmost in luxury and treat yourself to a romantic dinner at our Prive Dining Room. Or sip drinks while relaxing on hammocks and sun-beds among olive and pistachio trees at the Jacuzzi Bar.

Officially known as Thera, Santorini is well recognized as the most elegant and picture-perfect of the 56 islands that constitute the Cyclades complex.

It is located at the south end, bathed in golden sunlight and surrounded by clear blue sea. Santorini’s dramatic beauty was created by a massive volcanic eruption 3,500 years ago.

Today the inner edge of the island plunges almost 300 metres into the deep blue sea and it is speculated that this is what became of the legendary lost city of Atlantis.

The island’s villages and towns are a photographer’s dream. Sugar-cube white houses, twisting cobbled alleyways, and blue-domed churches dot the landscape.

Steeped in a rich history, numerous archaeological sites are nearby, including Akrotiri, known for the famous ruins from the Minoan period and one of the most inspiring sites in Greece.

A visit to the Archaeological Museum and the Museum of Prehistoric Thira is a must when visiting Santorini. Located near the airport and the port of Athinios, we are convenient to all area attractions. Lounge on the magnificent black sand beach of Perivolos.

Or take a day trip to nearby islands offering glimpses of volcanic structures and hot springs.

The capital of Fira is filled with designeroutlets, so shopping is very high on the list of activities. Another “must do” when in Fira is to take the breathtaking cable car ride down to the old port.

Thira Conference Center can seat up to 80 people and offers great conference facilities. A range of audio and visual equipment is available for use during your meetings – including a slide projector, overhead projector, screen, television, video and DVD equipment, and flipcharts.

Other equipment can be provided upon request. In addition to our larger meeting room, the business center is also available for meetings of four to eight people.

Catering is available through Pergola Pool Restaurant or Vinsanto Restaurant and Lounge. We can also arrange an office for the meeting planner and a separate registration area. With a professional staff and modern audiovisual equipment, we guarantee the success of your event.

We can organize a very special birthday party, a wedding anniversary, or even the most memorable wedding. Ask for our specially designed wedding packages or let us arrange the most romantic honeymoon with luxury and class.
