Boldt Castle sits on the St. Lawrence River at the New York and Canadian border. It is one of the most popular castle wedding venues in New York for weddings and vow renewals.
From its very conception Boldt Castle’s historic halls and grounds were filled with romance.
Built in 1900 by George Boldt as a tribute to the love he felt for his wife Louise, today it remains a testament to their enduring love story.
Surrounding the 19th century home are numerous gardens containing thousands of flowers as well as several stone structures of the same era, including the Gazebo, Alster Tower, Dove Cote and the Powerhouse.
Reservations are affordable despite the high demand. Weddings start at just $200.

Beautiful Whitby Castle is also located in New York. This venue can fully cater your wedding in a castle from start to finish with no detail spared.
Whitby Castle boasts a striking similarity to the details of the original Whitby Abbey in England, including some of the original Abbey stones.
Set on 126 acres in Rye, New York, Whitby Castle is conveniently located, yet seemingly worlds away.
Perfectly manicured lawns, breathtaking views of the Long Island Sound, a grandiose ballroom, plus two private reception rooms offer the perfect backdrop for any size affair.
Be sure to book this venue far in advance as it fills up quickly!

Booking a wedding at Iolani Palace will not only allow you to get married in the only official royal palace in the US, but you can also combine it with your Honolulu honeymoon!
Iolani Palace would also make a lovely destination wedding venue. The Coronation Pavilion in the Palace Gardens is the ideal place to hold a wedding ceremony.
The Coronation Pavilion was built for the coronation of King Kalakaua and Queen Kapiolani on February 12, 1883. The pavilion was later moved from its original site near the King Street steps.
A wedding on the property’s coronation lawn can hold up to 1,000 for a seated dinner. It can also host up to 4,000 for a standing cocktail reception. This is one of our favorites on this list of castle wedding venues.

Rosecliff has hosted many lavish parties over the ensuing years. This Rhode Island treasure is a popular wedding venue for brides looking for a fairy tale backdrop and having a wedding in a castle.
Commissioned by Nevada silver heiress Theresa Fair Oelrichs in 1899, architect Stanford White modeled Rosecliff after the Grand Trianon, the garden retreat of French kings at Versailles.
After the house was completed in 1902, at a reported cost of $2.5 million, Mrs. Oelrichs hosted fabulous entertainments here,
including a fairy tale dinner and a party featuring famed magician Harry Houdini.
The venue hosts wedding receptions of up to 180 with seated dinner and dance floors or up to 300 for a stand-up cocktail reception on the terrace.
