Which Fijian resort is all good-vibe vacations in one? Holidaymakers will tell you it’s the award-winning InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa.
This is the choice of those looking for 24/7 luxury, bliss-bomb beauty treatments, a kids club small guests will never want to leave, a premium club with special privileges, and experiences to text home about.
InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa abuts Natadola Bay on the Coral Coast, a 55-minute drive from Nadi International Airport. Set in 14 hectares of tropical manicured landscapes, the resort has an 18-hole championship golf course, three pools, a dive pool, and an on-site dive centre.
With snorkelling safaris, coral sustainability programs by Reef Safari and Hydro Sports motorised watersports, the 5-star luxury property delivers an outer island experience right on the mainland.
Judged one of the best beaches on Fiji’s mainland, Natadola Beach has pure white sand, amazing swimming spots, snorkelling, shade, and sunsets streaked with blue, lavender and orange.
Echoing the layout of a traditional Fijian village, InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa has 266 rooms, comprising 216 resort rooms and 50 luxurious suites at the Club InterContinental. Some suites have their own plunge pools while all guests can indulge in the luxurious experience of the resort’s famous Cleopatra bath by candlelight, prepared by bath butlers. This experience is available upon request and incurs an additional fee.

Rejuvenation is calling
A stay at the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa would not be complete without maximising indulgence, which is where the Spa InterContinental comes in. The award-winning spa draws on Eastern and Western treatment methods to balance the mind, body and soul.
Spa treatments use native herbs and plants grown in an onsite garden and guests can choose from a variety of expert treatments including revitalising facials, beachside cabana massages, honey body scrubs, signature Fijian massages, and a complimentary water therapy zone to unwind in before your treatment.
Eat me!
Restaurants at InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa showcase a wealth of flavours from Fiji’s 14 provinces.
Regarded as one of the best restaurants in Fiji, Navo Speciality-Dining overlooks the lagoon and the island of Navo. There’s a degustation menu, or choose à la carte dishes paired with new- and old-world wines.
Sitting alongside the Sugar Cane train track and overlooking the Meke Lawn and Natadola Bay is Sanasana Restaurant, the go-to for buffet breakfasts, à la carte lunch and themed buffet dinners.
New Executive Pastry Chef Indrashis Saha is known for his innovative desserts, including a vegan cheesecake. He joins the widely travelled Indrajit Saha, who came on board last year as Executive Chef.
What memories are made of
Unforgettable experiences range from snorkelling and diving to local tours and a round or two at the championship golf course.
The Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course blends world-class golf architecture with dramatic tropical landscapes. Its current design was spearheaded by Fijian pro golfer Vijay Singh and officially opened for play in June 2009 with the staging of the Fijian Open. The course has since hosted Fiji Open, Nomura Cup, Natadola Bay Fiji Classic and Fiji International tournaments.
The par 72 championship standard golf course provides an enjoyable challenge to players of all skill levels.
And there are many more ways to hit your fitness goals on holiday. A fully equipped gym is open round the clock. Guests can book activities such as Pilates and Boxfit.
Reward yourself, too, with some entertainment. Look for the nightly torch-lighting ceremony, traditional Polynesian dancing on Fridays and Meke dancing on Mondays. Meke is a traditional story-telling dance that was used to send messages from one village to another.
Love, Actually
InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa is a luxury wedding destination without peer. Say “I do” in a range of Instagrammable settings, from a glass-walled wedding pavilion with sweeping views of Natadola Bay, a manicured lawn with an equally stunning outlook, or on stunning Natadola Beach as the sun sets over the Pacific.
As well as guaranteeing your wedding will be the only one on your chosen day, the hotel’s team is known for its sophisticated ceremonies, tapping into a global pool of expertise to make dreams a reality.
Giving back
Some of the most rewarding activities for guests are community initiatives such as beach clean-ups, lessons on food waste management and ocean stewardship, green initiatives and programs that support both women surfers and remote communities.
InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa is committed to improving the lives of people living in Natadola Bay and surrounding villages. Projects are financed by a Community Care Fund, managed by the resort’s Sustainability Committee of volunteer colleagues.
Resort team members have raised funds to help improve facilities at Malomalo Primary School, volunteering to paint buildings, repair broken chairs and desks, replace rusty window frames and install a new roof. Thanks to the Community Care Fund, electricity and water have been connected to the school and a kindergarten built.
The FJ$70,000 kindergarten project, jointly funded by Fiji Water Foundation and donations from resort guests, now provides preschool education for the children of Sanasana, Malomalo, Naidiri and Natadola.
How to help
A donation of FJ$2 per room per night to the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa Community Care Program is added to each guest’s bill, unless otherwise advised. One hundred per cent of each donation is used to improve the lives of the residents of Sanasana Village and the community surrounding Natadola Bay.
Funds donated are invested in education, wellbeing, environmental sustainability and infrastructure.
Guests can also help by donating unwanted books, stationery, toys, computers and clothing, contributions warmly welcomed by local school children and the wider community.
